A Bittersweet Goodbye, and a New Beginning: Thank You for 10 Years

After a decade of stitching dreams into every hem, I’m writing this with a heart full of gratitude: I’ve made the decision to close my beloved clothing brand at the end of this year.

This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary — born out of a dream, built in the heart of Los Angeles, and sustained by the love of our community. Every piece we created reflected a belief in slow fashion, thoughtful design, and timeless craftsmanship. Our garments were proudly made in LA, our home. And behind each collection was the support of a small but mighty family team who poured care into every step of the process.

But as seasons shift, so do we.

Over the past few years, my personal life has grown richer and fuller. I’ve become a mother of two, a college professor, a gardener, a home cook — and somewhere in all this, a deep longing surfaced to tell new stories. Stories not just in fabric and thread, but in light, scent, meals shared, and slow mornings.

Though this brand is coming to a close, something new is beginning to take shape — something more intimate, more reflective. It will still carry my voice, my roots, my home. It will be a space to share meals, seasons, memories, and meaning. I hope it will feel like a letter arriving in the mail — unexpected, thoughtful, and exactly what you needed, too.

This brand, Mien Studios, has shaped who I am. Thank you for being part of this story. For believing in me and my company, for showing up, and for growing with me. Thank you for allowing me to create something meaningful and for reminding me that even endings can be beautiful.
